Powerlifter Konsam Homeshori representing Manipur University won silver medal All India Inter University Powerlifting Championship 2017 which was held at Punjab University, Punjab University, Chandigarh. She won the medal in women’s 57kg category in which 50 women lifters competed. The four days’ championship was participated by more than 95 teams from all-over India.
The Manipur team of 12 lifters were led by Naorem Sushila as team coach and Moirangthem Sunderchand as manager.
