India’s woman bodybuilder Thingbaijam Sarita is ready for the upcoming Asian and World championships 2017

India’s current national champion who has made a hat-trick titles in national bodybuilding championships expressed that she has completed her preparation for the upcoming Asian Bodybuilding Championships 2017 and World Bodybuilding Championships 2017 which will be held in South Korea and Mongolia respectively. And now she is ready for the championships.

The gutsy mother two from Thoubal district has been already selected to represent India at the the trial selection which was organised by UP Body Building and Fitness Association under the patronage of Indian Body Builders Federation 25th June, 2017 at Shobhit University, NH – 58, Modipuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh- 250110. She was selected for both the 51st Asian Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2017, which will be held from 22nd to 28th August, Seoul, South Korea and 9th World Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2017 which will be held from 2nd to 9th October at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia respectively.

The Iron Lady of India has been a sensational bodybuilder in the recent times and she has been working hard since the selection. In a Facebook post, she wrote that she has finished her preparation for the Asian and World Championships. She will compete in women’s below 55kg category. She had earlier won silver and bronze medals in Asian and World bodybuilding championships respectively.

Do you know one thing? She even skipped feast of the Ningol Chakouba festival  last year for the preparation of bodybuilding contest. What a dedication! And the result? She won national title.
