Although India could not win the match, surely Sachin was impressed by the performance of the young keeper. The young keeper has been doing whatever he can. He also got injured while trying to save a goal for India. He made several saves against the Columbian attacks. However, those saves could not save India from its second defeat in the ongoing U17 FIFA Football World Cup 2017 and India lost to Columbia by 1-2.
In the meantime, Moirangthem Dheeraj acknowledged the praise and expressed his thankfulness. The sensational keeper wrote “I am blessed to get such a praising from a legend” on his Facebook account.
India’s next match is on 12th October against Ghana. It is to be seen how the young keeper performs and see if the team manages to reach to the next round.
