Double titles for Thokchom Govindas in Asian Archery Taipei Open Tournament 2015

Thokchom Govindas who represented India at the Asian Archery Open Tournament 2015 (August 12-17), Chinese Taipei won two gold medals. He won the medals in individual and team events. The tournament was held at Taipei Municipal Stadium.

In individual compound bow (50metres) event, he met Vikas Rajan in the final and won by 145 points to 133 points out of 150 points.

He teaming up with Vikas Rajan of Punjab and Ajay Singh Shekhawat of Rajasthan won gold medal in team compound bow (50 metres) event.

It may be mentioned that the same team of Thokchom Govindas, Vikas Rajan and Ajay Singh Shekhawat also won silver medal in 2nd Asia Cup Archery 2015 which was held from March 16 to 22 at Bangkok, Thailand.
