Bidyaluxmi and Chaoba of India bag gold and silver medals in 12th South Asian Games 2016

Cyclists Bidyaluxmi and Chaoba bagged gold and silver medals respectively for India at the 12th South Asian Games 2016 held at Tapesia stadium. The cyclists won the medals in the 30 kilometer individual time trial cycling event. Sabita Bibi of Pakistan bagged the bronze medal.

The cyclists clocked 49 minutes and 24 seconds and 49 minutes and 31 seconds respectively. Both opened the medal account for India in the games.

Recently Tourangbam Bidyaluxmi won silver medal at the Track Asia Cup 2015, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex Velodrome, New Delhi.
